"Come Find Me"
The final poet of Ynysfall
Welcome to a piece of the shard. This is no single tale, but a thousand pieces of one. Each page is a shard, set beside others, until a world begins to take shape.
To piece together the Codex, see here.
This shard, though brief, seems to contain a message within its lines. I have endeavored without success to construct the full poem, but, alas, tyme has left his mark. Thou gentle reader, forgive, I beseech thee. If you, dear reader, see the meaning hidden, pray come forth to tell.
"The sound came forth on winter wynds
Last words dryfting, 'Not lost am I.'
'Lord, help,' a voice fades, then abscynds.
Prince lord, the man, his final cry
Survives. 'Come find me…'"
The text torn asunder here. Damage from water and fire.
Scattered words do still appear: Alvar, Tale, Horses, Pyre.
