“Where are you going?” Crystal shouted, hand over her phone.
“Out. You’ve been chattering for hours!” Cordel tried every trick he knew, but Crystal’s long night gossiping meant sleeplessness. He felt the unequivocal confusion of fatigue.
“Whatever,” Crystal returned to her call.
Cordel visited a pharmacy.
Tonight, he would sleep.
