The rain falls

Gently.

Like teardrops from

Heaven.

Each leaf bent by water's

Burden

Until, with a splash, it

Releases.

The heart of the

Broken

Can only hold

So much

Pain before it, too, must

Release

In teardrops, groans, and

Unburdening.

Only after release comes

Healing.

Time cannot erase

Scars

But, like the burl of a

Tree
